MN: Milan up to six summer recruits but five more signings are eyed – the positions

AC Milan are still targeting new signings in four other positions despite a flurry of recent activity, according to a report.

MilanNews writes how after the arrivals of Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali, Fode Ballo-Touré, Brahim Diaz and Olivier Giroud, the management are still planning for more additions because the squad is not considered complete at the moment.

An alternative right-back to Davide Calabria is sought, a central midfielder is wanted given Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer’s African Cup of Nations commitments, a right winger is desired and finally a playmaker to replace Hakan Calhanoglu.

In addition, there could also be a last piece: a young striker who can offer more physical guarantees than Ibrahimovic and Giroud, with the profiles of Kaio Jorge (Santos) and Janis Antiste (Toulouse) very popular with Maldini and Massara.

Pioli knows that the two directors will do everything to complete the squad, with preseason now in full swing and just over a month until the start of the season.
