In recent weeks, Milan had been trying to find a way for Franck Kessie to return to Italy, as the midfielder was stuck in Ivory Coast due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Now, though, the situation has been solved.
As reported by MilanNews.it, Franck Kessie landed in Milan earlier today as the last Rossoneri player to return. In other words, Stefano Pioli’s side is reunited after weeks apart from each other during the quarantine period.
Before proceeding with the tests, Milan will have to wait for authorisation from the FIGC and the Lombardy region. Normally, a 14-day quarantine would be required but as happened with Ibrahimovic, two negative tests are enough if permission is granted.
In the coming days, the government is expected to allow collective training, as the players are currently working individually at Milanello. Should the season resume on June 13, though, they will have to start training together very soon.
