MN: Probable Milan XI vs. Napoli – Calhanoglu the playmaker; battle for spot on the wing

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to field another attacking line-up for Sunday’s crucial game against Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.

After Tuesday night’s 4-2 win over league-leaders Juventus, the Rossoneri have won four of five games since the league restarted, outscoring their opponents 15-5 in that spell and securing crucial victories over Roma and Lazio as well as the Bianconeri.

They face another in-form side in Napoli this weekend though, a game which pits Gennaro Gattuso up against his old club.

According to MilanNews, Pioli is set to start Hakan Calhanoglu as the playmaker, with Saelemaekers or Paquetà on the right. This is the only doubt that Pioli will have to resolve, as the defence and midfield will stay the same while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic both look set to keep their places in the XI.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers (Paquetà), Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
