Charles De Ketelaere is just one step away from joining AC Milan, with his arrival in Italy scheduled for tomorrow. In fact, reports have already emerged on the shirt number the playmaker will wear.

Out of the so-called ‘classic’ numbers, there are not many available. Samu Castillejo recently left the club and thus made the No.7 shirt available but Yacine Adli pounced on the opportunity. De Ketelaere, therefore, has opted for another solution.
According to MilanNews, the playmaker should wear the No.90 shirt at Milan just like he did at Club Brugge. While it would have been nice to see him in perhaps the No.7 or No.10 shirt, the shirt number matters little at the end of the day.
De Ketelaere will undergo his medical tomorrow or on Monday, expected to be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal already on Tuesday. He could thus take part in Milan’s final friendly of the pre-season, against Vicenza on August 6th.
