There is no denying that the major protagonist in Serie A during the 2023 summer transfer window has been AC Milan. Having sold Sandro Tonali to Newcastle for €70 million, the Rossoneri have been fast to reinvest that money into the squad.

As summarised by Milan News, Milan have now made six signings and spent the money that was collected for the Tonali sale, but that is not where the action is going to stop.
The six signings to arrive so far are Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor. The first two were free transfers but the rest have all been purchased to improve the quality of the first team.
It seems that Samuel Chukwueze is going to sign for the club on Wednesday after his medical, which will be another €20m with €8m in potential add-ons. The most expensive net salary of the new players is €4m, and that is what both Pulisic and Chukwueze are/will be getting.
Despite so many signings and so much money spent, there is still interest in signing another striker, Yunus Musah from Valencia to further bolster the midfield, a back-up left back and perhaps a central defender too.
These moves are more dependant on players like Divock Origi, Ante Rebic, Fode Ballo-Toure, Darko Lazetic and Yacine Adli leaving the club.
