MN: New signings start well but three more additions are eyed to complete Milan squad

The AC Milan management are enjoying seeing the new signings contribute on the field but they do not consider the squad to be complete, it is claimed.

Antonio Vitiello writes in his latest column for MilanNews that out of the 10 signings made in the summer, at least five are impacting games and results.

Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor are doing so with goals and assists, while Tijjani Reijnders and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are two midfielders who make a big difference, then there is Yunus Musah who is undoubtedly a very interesting signing and will grow even further.

Even Marco Sportiello was good when he played, but Stefano Pioli will now work on getting Samuel Chukwueze firing in order to involve all the players on whom a significant amount was spent.

Luke Romero and Marco Pellegrino were signings for the future and must be handled with care, while Luka Jovic is working to get to 100% in terms of physical condition and he has a ‘great desire for revenge’.

The squad will be ‘further strengthened’ in the coming transfer windows, Vitiello adds. The targets? A new striker (especially if Olivier Giroud doesn’t renew), a central defender and a left-back.
