Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara would like to give Stefano Pioli some top players for the attacking department, but they also cannot forget the signings they made like Pierre Kalulu and Rafael Leao that developed into being crucial pieces of the project despite not being well-known.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), chief scout Geoffrey Moncada is in Lyon to attend a youth tournament in which 12 U20 national teams are involved, including France, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. In particular, the most interesting players play in the French team led by Bernard Diomède, who won the World Cup in 1998.
Among the most interesting profiles is Maxime Esteve of Montpellier, who already been followed for some time by the Rossoneri. Then there is striker Sekou Mara of Bordeaux plus the midfield duo Maghnes Akliouche of Monaco and Adil Aouchiche of the just relegated Saint-Etienne.
As for the other national teams, the Mexican centre-back Víctor Guzman of Tijuana and the Colombian attacking midfielder Alexis Castillo Manyoma of Cortuluá that have ended up in Moncada’s notebook.
