Moretto confirms forward could be allowed to leave Real Madrid amid Milan links

AC Milan have been linked with a move for Arda Güler over the past few weeks, and journalist Matteo Moretto has given his take on the situation.

Güler was heavily linked with Milan during the last summer transfer window but ended up joining Real Madrid instead, but now eight months later the Turkish playmaker could leave the Bernabeu side due to a lack of playing time.

Calciomercato.com are just one of the sources who claimed that the LaLiga champions are already pondering a loan move for the 19-year-old, hoping that he can continue his development elsewhere.

Milan are watching the situation closely and they could offer up a Brahim Diaz-esque deal to Real Madrid, where they had him for three seasons before sending him back to the Spanish capital.

Matteo Moretto was asked about the Guler to Milan links as part of his column for CaughtOffside, and we have relayed his comments on the situation below.

“Regarding Arda Guler and his Real Madrid future, the only thing I can say is that he could go out on loan to have continuity and keep growing, as revealed last week. I have no news of Milan being interested at the moment,” he said.
