Moretto: Milan and Besiktas agree deal over full-back but player says no

Fode Ballo-Touré is looking for a new club this summer given that he is not part of AC Milan’s plans, and a move to Turkey could well be an option for him.

Ballo-Toure was sent out on loan to Fulham last season but failed to make much of a mark with the London club and they opted not to use their option to buy, which means that he has returned to Milan.

Even with the arrival of Paulo Fonseca it seems that Ballo-Toure is destined to leave the Rossoneri before the new season begins and a concrete suitor has come forward.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo (via Radio Rossonera) Milan have reached an agreement with Besiktas over the Senegal international, but he is not open to the destination at the moment.

There are also Premier League and Championship teams interested in the full-back, so at the moment the player would prefer to wait for the right opportunity to return to England.

In the meantime, Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed in his recent press conference that the ex-Monaco man – along with Divock Origi – have not been invited to train with the first team, a clear sign that it is in his best interests to move on.
