Moretto: Milan prepare low January offer for left-back after agreeing contract terms

AC Milan are closing in on an agreement with Juan Miranda, whose contract with Real Betis will expire in the summer, and the left-back could arrive in January. As per a report, the Rossoneri are preparing an offer.

Milan are looking for a new deputy left-back after sending Fode Ballo-Toure out on loan on deadline day. Juan Miranda has ended up at the top of the wish list and negotiations are already underway with the full-back.

According to Matteo Moretto, Milan are close to reaching an agreement on the contract terms (five-year deal) with the 23-year-old. The Rossoneri are also considering tabling a low January offer of around €5m, hoping that the Spanish side will take the money instead of losing Miranda for free.

Theo Hernandez has looked a bit tired in recent weeks and thus a deputy could be very positive for Stefano Pioli’s side. However, whether the Spaniard will arrive in January or in the summer will depend on Real Betis.
