Moretto: Verona want Milan striker as counterpart in Cisse deal – the latest

AC Milan are negotiating with Hellas Verona over the signing of a teenage talent and a name has come up as a potential counterpart, a report claims.

According to Matteo Moretto, Milan and Verona are in constant talks over Alphadjo Cissè and now the hypothesis of a potential counterpart has been put forward, and it is striker Marco Nasti.

The Gialloblu would like Nasti as part of the deal but at the moment ‘there is no green light to proceed’, which suggests Milan are apprehensive about the idea of the swap.

Cissè is one of the more highly rated forward prospects in Italy having amassed 20 goals and three assists in 56 appearances over the last two seasons in the Primavera playing as an attacking midfielder and a left winger.

He has been with Verona since 2020 and made his senior debut for the club during a 3–1 win over Ascoli in the Coppa Italia last season. He made his Serie A debut in a 2-2 draw against Inter back in May 2024.

Nasti, meanwhile, was on loan at Bari last season and has been linked with another loan move. He is currently in the United States with the first team and he scored the winning goal against Manchester City on Saturday night.
