Last summer, Musah had a frantic time between clubs. The American midfielder was destined to be heading away, but finding the right club at the right time was difficult. At several points, it seemed he was going to remain at Milanello for the season.
However, Atalanta eventually got the midfielder on loan, even after it looked like they were going to miss out due to Ardon Jashari’s injury.

Since moving to Bergamo, there have been constant questions about whether La Dea were going to make use of their buy option and it now appears that they will not be doing so.
Fabrizio Romano, via r/ACMilan, has confirmed that he will head back to Milanello this summer, but it will not be for long.
“Yunus Musah will return to Milan in June; Atalanta do not intend to exercise the option to buy him. The club is expected to look for a new club for the American midfielder.”
