There are yet more signs pointing towards the idea of Charles De Ketelaere joining AC Milan as the forward is reportedly training alone.

According to Nieuwsblad, Milan are taking their time in the De Ketelaere pursuit and do not want to put down €35m currently, perhaps because they feel confident as they are the only club in the race for the Belgium international and the player wants the move.
However, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara met Brugge CEO Vincent Mannaert in Lugano, Switzerland, at the Splendide Royal Hotel, but the new offer the Rossoneri came up with was also insufficient. The gap is gradually narrowing, but Milan will probably have to close it themselves as Brugge are not moving.
De Ketelaere meanwhile seems to be a bit detached from the Brugge squad and it is unknown if he will join the group training today and be involved in the preparation for the away game against, given that on Saturday he worked individually and on Monday he stayed at home for exercises.
He hopes that an agreement between the clubs will be reached in the coming days and that this soap opera can finally be put to bed, because it has dragged on long enough.
