Official: AC Milan confirm signing of Charles De Ketelaere on long-term deal

AC Milan have officially announced the signing of forward Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge on a long-term deal.

A statement on the club’s official website confirmed the arrival of De Ketelaere and added that the player has signed a contract until 30 June 2027 and will wear the number 90 shirt, which he wore at Brugge.

The 21-year-old came through the Youth Sector of the Belgian champions before making his debut for the club in 2019 and he would go on to make 120 appearances for them, scoring 25 goals including 18 last season. He arrives having won the Belgian League three times – most recently last season – and the Belgian Super Cup twice.

He also has international recognition too now as in November 2020 he made his debut for the Belgian national team, and has since played for them eight times and scored once.

Having arrived in Italy late last night and with both phases of his medical completed, De Ketelaere was finally able to put pen to paper on his five-year deal at Casa Milan this evening.
