That win over Juve was the ideal response ahead of the rematch against Chelsea at San Siro tonight, given that Milan did not give a good account of themselves at Stamford Bridge where they were beaten 3-0.
Ciprian Tatarusanu will continue to deputise for the injured Mike Maignan in goal, and Matteo Gabbia will keep his place in the back four after a solid performance against Juventus. Fikayo Tomori will partner him, with Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez the right and left-backs respectively.
The midfield three will be Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic, who will come in for Tommaso Pobega. The front three will be Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Brahim Diaz.
Official Milan XI (4-3-3): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer, Krunic; Brahim Diaz, Leao, Giroud.
Bench: Mirante, Jungdal, Dest, Coubis, Ballo-Touré, Pobega, Rebic, Origi, Messias.
Official Chelsea XI (3-4-2-1): Kepa; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Koulibaly; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Chilwell; Sterling, Mount; Aubameyang.
