Official: Date and time for Milan’s first two games of the season confirmed

The dates and times for AC Milan’s first two games of the season have been confirmed via Lega Serie A, and it will be a Monday start for the Rossoneri.

As the league have announced (via MilanNews), Milan’s first game of the season – away against Sampdoria – will take place on Monday August 23 at 20:45 and will be broadcast on both DAZN and Sky Italia.

The second round and the first home game of the season will be on Sunday August 29 at 20:45 as Milan will take on Cagliari, who they faced in the last home game of 2020-21. That game will be broadcast in Italy on DAZN.

Milan will be hoping to build off the last campaign in which they finished second in the league – the club’s highest placement since the 2011-12 season – and secured a return to the Champions League. After the games against Sampdoria and Cagliari, Milan face a tricky round 3 and 4 against Lazio and Juventus.
