Official: Dinamo Zagreb vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Pioli goes with attacking side

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has chosen to field a quite attacking starting line-up for tonight’s game against Dinamo Zagreb at the Stadion Maksimir.

Pioli will be without a number of players with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Florenzi, Davide Calabria, Alexis Saelemaekers and Mike Maignan all out until 2023, while Sergino Dest has muscle fatigue and did not travel, and Fikayo Tomori is suspended.

Ciprian Tatarusanu has been named in goal with Pierre Kalulu, Simon Kjaer, Matteo Gabbia and Theo Hernandez as the back four from right to left, and a ‘first choice’ double pivot of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali ahead of them.

An attacking front four has been chosen, with Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud returning to their respective positions and Charles De Ketelaere down as the playmaker, with Ante Rebic ready for a rare start on the right flank.
