Official: Pietro Avogadro signs first professional contract with Milan – photo

Pietro Avogadro di Vigliano has become the latest AC Milan talent to put pen to paper on a first senior deal.

Avogadro has played primarily for Milan’s U17 team this season, having scored five goals and added four assists in 19 games for a side currently sat inside the play-off places in the league, so still in with a shout of silverware.

Recently, the 16-year-old has also made a couple of substitute appearances for the U18 side too, showing that he is ahead of his years. Now, he has been rewarded with a professional deal.

The official website has confirmed the news: “AC Milan are pleased to announce that Pietro Avogadro di Vigliano has signed his first professional contract.

“The 2009-born forward, now in his tenth season with the Rossoneri, will join the Milan Futuro project – an initiative designed to support the development and growth of young talents.”

A number of players have committed their futures to Milan recently including Fabio PandolfiSimon La MantiaVictor Eletu and Lorenzo Ossola in recent months. Most recently, it was Pietro Faccioli and Nirash Pereira.
