AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has named an interesting starting XI for the last winter friendly against PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands tonight.
Antonio Mirante has been entrusted with the role of starting goalkeeper ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu, which is an interesting sign in view of the game against Salernitana on January 4 with Mike Maignan out injured.
Ahead of him is a back four of Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Sergino Dest given the absence of Theo Hernandez, which will be protected by a midfield double pivot of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer.
Charles De Ketelaere has been chosen as the central attacking midfielder, with the rest of the attack comprised of Alexis Saelemaekers on the right winger, Yacine Adli over Rafael Leao on the left wing – given the Portuguese only returned to training on boxing day – and Ante Rebic leading the line.
