MN: Origi to travel to Belgium for treatment from national team doctors – the situation

Some rather more serious news has emerged regarding the condition of Divock Origi, who will travel to Belgium to try and cure his current problem.

Origi missed Saturday night’s match against Sampdoria despite the fact he should have taken the field from the first minute as he suffered an issue in the build-up to the game, and it quickly emerged that he is facing a week out at least and will not be available against Napoli.

MilanNews writes that the feeling was Origi had recovered from the injury sustained with Liverpool before the Champions League final and this was proved by the fact he has been training with the group for a month.

However, he occasionally suffers from tendon inflammation or tightness, so it has been decided to send Origi to Belgium where he will carry out specific work and will also be followed by the national team doctors, given that he would be called up anyway for the upcoming break.

The advantage is that these are the same doctors who had started the post-injury recovery process in the spring, while Milan can follow the development of Origi’s program with the presence on site of members of their medical staff during the break. He will stay in Belgium until the work is complete.
