CorSport: Origi could join Milan group training next week

AC Milan forward could be fit enough to join group training next week as he works to recover from an injury, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the former Liverpool striker is making good progress towards getting fit and being seen on the pitch for the Rossoneri for the first time.

He was signed on a free transfer but he was already injured at the time. He has been working separately on a personalised training programme but he is making good progress.

He is now almost fully recovered and Stefano Pioli is aiming to have him available for the match against Udinese on the first day of the new season.

There is also hope that he could play a small portion of the friendly against Vicenza which takes place on August 6.

Either way, he will be training with his teammates very soon and will only miss one or two games at most.
