Reports: Osimhen at risk of missing all three Milan games – the latest

Victor Osimhen sustained an adductor injury while away with the Nigerian national team and now there is a chance he misses all three games against AC Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com, the certainty is that Osimhen will not be there for the game on Sunday night between the Partenopei and the Rossoneri at the Maradona, but the biggest doubt and concern is the quarter-final meeting in the Champions League.

An absence of 20 days is expected for Osimhen as per the source, which would see him miss both the first leg match on April 12 and the return match on April 18. Further checks will be carried out next week, but it seems he can certainly be ruled out of the first leg.

Meanwhile, Sky reported Francesco Modugno (via MilanNews) confirmed that Osimhen will certainly miss Sunday’s match against Milan and the following one against Lecce, but the hope is to at least get him back for the Champions League quarter-finals. The stoppage is estimated at around 15-20 days.

Giovanni Simeone is the favourite to take the spot of the former Lille man and he scored the winner against Milan at San Siro earlier in the season, while Giacomo Raspadori is set to return soon after a month’s absence.
