AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has admitted his side are struggling at home as they were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Udinese.

Milan’s title hopes were dented as they were held to a draw at San Siro on Wednesday night. It was yet another disappointing home performance in which the Rossoneri struggled to break down their opponents, with the absences of key players felt and a 97th-minute penalty needed to earn a draw.
Pioli spoke to Milan TV after the game against Udinese, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews.
On the poor results at San Siro: “At home we are struggling. Tonight we had the opportunity to improve the score, but we found some difficulties on a tactical level. We did not give rhythm and quality to the game.”
On the attack: “Tonight’s forwards are more about movement and not in the area. The team was still competitive. We shouldn’t have conceded a goal.”
On the spirit of the team: “There are no more doubts about the desire of these guys not to give up. But we must not be happy with the performance and the result. From tomorrow we will think about the next game, we must regain enthusiasm and lightheartedness.”
On Meite: “In the last period at Turin he has not played regularly. By playing continuously you find more rhythm. His performance was certainly positive.”
An adjective for tonight: “Worried about injuries, yes, because it is a decisive moment for the season and for the Europa League. We need different energies and qualities. Today we could not make these choices. In Rome we won, but it was impossible [tonight] because the opponent had a different type of football.”
