According to Sky (via MilanNews), several starters will return from the first minute tomorrow against Lecce after the rotation in the Coppa Italia defeat against Torino in midweek during which the likes of Matteo Gabbia, Sergino Dest, Tommaso Pobega and Charles De Ketelaere got a start.
Ismael Bennacer will be part of the double pivot for the game against Lecce tomorrow having just renewed his contract until 2027, and the Algerian midfielder should team up with Aster Vranckx.
Tonali’s suspension due to amassing too many yellow cards means he will not be available to Pioli, so it seems the Milan boss will choose the Belgian over picking Pobega, perhaps based on their respective performances in the cup game a couple of days ago.
