Sky: Premier League side make offer for former Milan defender Romagnoli

Premier League side Fulham have offered a contract to Alessio Romagnoli whose contract with AC Milan expired yesterday, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy (via Milan News), the newly-promoted team from London are ready to make Romagnoli their new defender.

They have made the Italian an offer of €4 million net per season on a four-year contract.

Romagnoli had been part of the Milan defence since 2015 and at one stage he was the captain of the Rossoneri.

He joined from Roma and has made almost 200 appearances for Milan. He fell out of favour shortly after the arrival of Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea.

The excellent form shown by the Englishman as well as the unexpected quality of Pierre Kalulu meant that he quickly became the fourth-choice central defender at the club under Stefano Pioli when Simon Kjaer is fit.

He is seeking a new challenge where he can be starting player again.
