AC Milan once again had Christian Pulisic to thank as they came from behind against Torino to earn another big win.

Milan came back to win 3-2, having gone two goals behind. Pulisic was the man in the spotlight again as his brace secured the win and three points for the Rossoneri. Having come on in the second half after passing a late fitness test, his rapid fire double was what won the game.
Less than a minute after coming on, he scored the equaliser and then completed the comeback in the 77th minute with another goal. He once again demonstrated his lethal finishing inside the box, with a composed finish for both goals.
With two goals in just 24 minutes of action, Pulisic has once again shown his value to Milan. With around 90% of the vote, he was named the MVP ahead of Adrien Rabiot and Samuele Ricci, who also played key roles in the win against Torino.
An important future
With his double against Torino, the American has climbed to the top of the Serie A scoring charts with seven goals, tied with Lautaro. While the Inter captain has a league average of one goal every 151 minutes, the former Chelsea player scores one every 64 minutes.

What does the future hold for Pulisic, though? Talks were believed to be underway over a renewal, and a deal was almost agreed at the back end of last season. However, due to the way the season went, the Rossoneri were forced to put a renewal on the back burner.
The American is not against a renewal, but given his form and quality, he wanted assurances about the future. Recently, it seemed like he was, perhaps, warming to the idea again, but it appears that he still wants to wait a little longer.
Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto provided an update a couple of weeks ago.
“As of today, there’s still no set date regarding Pulisic’s possible renewal with Milan. There’s no rush because the American player’s contract expires in 2027, plus an automatic renewal at Milan’s expense, and the club will certainly extend it at least until 2028.
“But as of today, there’s still no date, no time to discuss this possible extension until 2030 or 2031. I simply want to reiterate this even if it’s not transfer market news.”
