Jorge Mendes arrived in Milano yesterday, per the latest reports, and that has fueled the rumours of an imminent renewal with AC Milan for Rafael Leao. Indeed, only the signature from the winger is missing.

After many months of intense negotiations, Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Leao on the new contract. It’s believed that the new contract will have a fixed base of €5m and then additional bonuses.
According to Relevo’s Matteo Moretto, Jorge Mendes arrived in Milano yesterday and it’s possible that he had a meeting with the Milan management. However, as said before, only the signature is missing and the parties are now just waiting on the Sporting fine situation.
Milan want to close the renewal and possibly even announce it before the first leg against OInter in the Champions League. That game is scheduled for Wednesday next week, meaning we could soon get some big updates from the Rossoneri HQ.
