AC Milan are ‘very close’ to being able to announce the renewal of Pierre Kalulu with talks having progressed well, according to a report.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) addresses the issue of renewals at Milan with three protagonists at the moment in Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer and Kalulu, with the former two under contract until 2024 and the latter until 2025.
Kalulu seems to be in the most advanced discussions for the extension of his contract – which will also come with a pay rise as a reward for his importance and development.
The paper adds that negotiations are already ‘at an advanced stage’ and therefore an agreement between the player and the club is now ‘very close’.
It would certainly be an important sign for Milan to get another young talent locked down after Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali all agreed improved terms fairly recently.
