Report: Milan could redeem €28m Chelsea man and let Real Madrid, Man Utd duo return

During the winter transfer window the Rossoneri secured the signing of Soualiho Meite on loan with an option to buy and Fikayo Tomori on the same terms. The duo therefore must be paid for if they are to remain beyond June, just like Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot who arrived from Real Madrid and Manchester United in the summer on dry loans.

According to DirettaGoal, it is probable that only one of these four loans could be redeemed outright, with Paolo Maldini and CEO Ivan Gazidis tempted by the idea of only buying Tomori outright.

The Rossoneri will have to shell out just under €30million (€28m) to sign the Englishman, so it is therefore unlikely that there is additional budget for the others. Centre-back is currently the role that most needs coverage in the squad, which is why Tomori.
