Report: Milan pushing for €8m signing of Parma starlet to replace Brahim Diaz

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, the directors of AC Milan, are always looking for talents on the market with the backing of their scouting department. Adrian Bernabe is the latest younger to be linked with the club.

The Rossoneri have focused heavily on young players in the last few years, along with some experienced ones, and it has paid off on the pitch. They have no intention of scrapping their project, therefore.

According to SerieBNews, Milan have set their sights on Parma starlet Adrian Bernabe. He arrived from Man City’s U23 team ahead of the season and he has impressed many, finding the back of the net five times. Most recently, he scored a free-kick brace against Como.

The likes of Atalanta, Sassuolo and Juventus are all following the progress of Bernabe and now Milan have joined the race as well, per the report. Stefano Pioli could field the 20-year-old both in the tandem and as an attacking midfielder, perhaps being the replacement for Brahim Diaz.

Should he continue to perform like this, then it will be hard for Parma to resist the interest of the big clubs this summer. As added by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Bernabe has a price tag of €7-8m.
