Report: Milan still in the running for €60m Real Madrid man but the player has doubts

AC Milan are still in the running for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, a report claims, but the player has doubts about a move to Italy.

Jovic has been extensively linked with a move to Milan over the last few months, with rumours suggesting that Ralf Rangnick was set to arrive as the new manager, something which would push Zlatan Ibrahimovic out.

However, since then it has been all-change. Rangnick will no longer be arriving and Stefano Pioli has signed a new deal as head coach, which means that Ibrahimovic is now closing in on a new deal.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo though, Milan are still keen on signing Jovic this summer.

There is competition from Ligue 1 side Monaco who have just appointed former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Niko Kovac, and the report adds that the player has ‘doubts’ about joining Milan, something which may put Monaco in pole for the man Real paid €60m to sign one year ago.
