AC Milan playmaker Lucas Paqueta is closing in on a move to Lyon, a report claims, in what is positive news for the club’s management.
After a difficult 2019-20 campaign, a number of different sources have claimed that the Ligue 1 side are willing to offer Paqueta an escape route, with the Brazilian no longer part of the plans at Milan.
According to the latest from MilanNews reporter Anto Vitiello, there is constant dialogue ongoing with Lyon the for the sale of Paqueta, with work continuing to try and unlock the deal.
The fact he was not called up to the squad at all for Thursday’s game against Bodo/Glimt is reflective of his future, and the former Flamengo man’s exit would be key to the final purchases of the Rossoneri’s summer window.
In addition to that, Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo is reporting that positive signals have emerged regarding Paqueta’s move to Lyon, which is now moving towards being close to completion.
