AC Milan and Inter are making very slow progress on their stadium project but on Thursday, at the very least, there will be some movement. The city council are expected to vote on the matter, a report claims.

The public debate ended a while back and the matter has since been in the hands of the city council, where the politicians are divided on the subject (to say the least). On Thursday, they will vote on the next agenda for the project.
This was reported by La Repubblica (via Francesco Nasato), stating that one of the things the council is likely to vote through is the demand to increase the capacity. Milan and Inter have made it clear that their project is for just under 70k, but the council wants it to be 70-80k.
Another demand, among other things, will be that the clubs must keep the average ticket price at the same level as it is now. This has been the main concern of decreasing the capacity (thus increasing demand, decreasing supply) but Milan and Inter’s defence has always been that the new corporate seats will make up for it.
