AC Milan could make a move for former AS Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout if they end up selling Rade Krunic to Fenerbahce, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Repubblica (via Milan News), a new name is in the mix for Milan when it comes to a potential Krunic replacement.
There is still a very good chance that Krunic stays at the club despite a new offer of €7m arriving yesterday from Fenerbahce. Milan want €12-15m for the Bosnian so there is still a distance to bridge for the Turkish side.
If a deal were to be done, current Marseille midfielder Veretout is an option for Milan. He has played for both Fiorentina and Roma in Serie A, and is viewed as a very solid midfielder.
His name is one of many linked with this role, as Bologna’s Nicolas Dominguez and Manchester United’s Donny van der Beek have also been mentioned.
