Romano: Resolving future of playmaker ‘one of the priorities’ for Milan amid agreement with Real Madrid

Another source has confirmed that AC Milan plan to open talks with Real Madrid over the permanent signing of Brahim Diaz.

Brahim Diaz is currently in the second of a two-year loan from Real Madrid meaning that the Rossoneri management will soon need to make a decision on whether they want to try and keep him beyond June.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan have scheduled talks with Real Madrid in order to discuss a permanent move for Brahim Diaz, which is described as being ‘one of the priorities’ alongside the renewals of Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud.

Romano confirms that Milan have an option to buy which comes into play in June for a fee of €22m, but Real have a buy-back clause for €27m that they can exercise, so no doubt the discussions between the managements of the two clubs will serve to clarify the stance of each.
