AS Roma have been offered the chance to sign Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar but AC Milan are thought to be ahead in the race to sign him, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, one of Lyon’s most talented players has been touted to Serie A rivals Roma as his contract runs out in June 2023 and he is looking for a new team.
His entourage have been trying to find him a new club for some time now and Serie A is one of the Frenchman’s many possible destinations.
Despite this head start that the Giallorossi appear to have been given, it is reported that Milan are actually leading the race to sign Aouar. The options are to pay a depressed fee in January to bolster the midfield immediately or wait until the summer for a free transfer.
Tete is another Lyon player that Milan are being linked with.
