Romano: Idea of signing Roma striker ‘has not been abandoned’ by Milan

Tammy Abraham is an idea that the AC Milan management have not yet abandoned and they could resume talks with AS Roma again, it is claimed.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto for SOSFanta, the Abraham path ‘has not been abandoned by Milan’, and there could well be a better opportunity to get him soon.

Roma are focusing on closing a deal for Artem Dovbyk from Girona and if they were to land him then the Rossoneri management could resume talks about the idea of getting Abraham.

The Englishman has a with AS Roma valid until 2026 but could be open to the idea of a new challenge after a season that was almost entirely wiped out due to a knee ligament injury he suffered just over a year ago.

Abraham knows Fikayo Tomori well from their time together in the Chelsea academy which could facilitate things, but all will depend on the asking price and the formula that the Giallorossi request.

If Milan were to pursue another striker then it would also raise question marks about Luka Jovic’s role in the squad, given his deal was extended by a year but he might not be happy with being third choice.
