AC Milan have put an offer on the table to sign Divock Origi when his contract with Liverpool expires, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Elliott Management and the Milan leaders always look at price-value ratio when examining potential signings and having an international-level striker potentially available without a transfer fee involved has resulted in the first exploratory talks between the parties, according to widespread reports.
Now, Romano is reporting that Milan have already made a bid to sign Divock Origi on a free transfer. He will not extend his contract with Liverpool, his current deal expires in June and the Rossoneri are pushing to complete the agreement.
The Sky journalist goes on to add that Milan are ‘confident’ of striking an agreement with the 26-year-old and his entourage and they continue to work on the deal. Origi has 5 goals in 533 minutes this season having struggled for playing time, but he has popped up in important moments such as scoring the winner at San Siro in the group stages.
