De Ketelaere will play in Brugge’s friendly today against FC Utrecht having sat out their game against Copenhagen last weekend, showing that a deal is far from imminent, and Alexandre Braeckman of RTL Sport confirms there is not yet an agreement between the sides yet.

The Belgian club want to receive closer to the €40m mark including bonuses if they are to sell, while Milan’s offer totals €31m. The two clubs are in discussion every day, and it is ‘too early to tell’ if the deal could be completed this week.

Leeds United are ‘not out of the picture’ and their offer remains on the table. Milan have not yet raised their bid but they remain the big favourites ‘for the moment’, but ‘everything is going very fast in the transfer window’.

Milan want to move quickly but Brugge have time and know they are in a position of strength, so everything will continue in the coming days.
