Resto del Carlino: Sassuolo want Milan striker – he could be a counterpart in Traore deal

AC Milan striker Lorenzo Colombo is attracting interest from Sassuolo and they would take him as a counterpart in a deal for one of their forwards.

That is according to what is being reported by il Resto del Carlino (via SempreMilan.it), who claim that Milan have decided to reject the proposal made by SPAL to renew the loan of Colombo for another season.

The Italian striker will return in the summer but it is highly unlikely that he will stay, because Sassuolo are interested in him and could accept his card as a counterpart for Hamed Junior Traorè.

It is no secret that Milan are looking for a playmaker capable of beating his man and scoring, so Traorè represents the right profile for the Rossoneri management, but to sign him from the Neroverdi would cost about €20m.

It is a figure that the Rossoneri are convinced they can reduce by including Colombo. The Ivorian playmaker has collected 26 appearances this season for Sassuolo with 7 goals and 4 assists.
