Sky: Milan remain confident despite AZ Alkmaar raising asking price for Reijnders

AC Milan and AZ Alkmaar remain some way away from finding an agreement over Tijjani Reijnders, a report claims, especially after the Dutch club upped their demands.

According to the latest from Sky, AZ Alkmaar’s request for Reijnders has risen to €25m and the two clubs are currently distant despite the fact that the Rossoneri management have struck an agreement with the player over personal terms.

However, there is confidence regarding the outcome of the negotiation not only for Reijnders but for Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal too.

The demands of the Eredivisie and the LaLiga clubs are sizeable, but Milan are convinced that they can strike a deal with both of them having done what they can with the players.

In the 2022-23 league season, Reijnders played 32 matches and had 21 shots on target from a total of 45 shots, scoring three goals. He averaged 57 passes per match with a pass completion rate of 89%, and had 7 assists, as per Infogol.
