Sky: Brozovic’s Saudi Pro League move could impact Milan’s pursuit of Frattesi

The fact that Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is very close to signing for a Saudi Arabian club could have a serious effect on AC Milan’s pursuit of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport (via Milan News), the Croatian midfielder is very close to joining Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, where he will link up with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Inter are set to receive about €22-24 million for that deal and it will give them some capital to invest in the purchase of Frattesi from Sassuolo.

They are the main rivals for Milan when it comes to Frattesi and whilst Milan have gained the advantage by seeing Sandro Tonali depart, that could quickly disappear.

The fact that Inter have got Nicolo Barella is also thought to be a point in their favour as Frattesi has spoken about his admiration of the fellow Italian midfielder.
