Zlatan Ibrahimovic has recovered from his knee surgery and is currently eager to get back on the pitch. Although he didn’t get any minutes yesterday, that had nothing to do with his condition.

The Swede first returned to the squad for Milan’s game against Torino and while that was perhaps a little early, he was certainly ready yesterday. For various reasons, though, Pioli opted for other solutions to defend the lead.
As reported by Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it), Ibrahimovic was hoping to get a few minutes against Monza as he feels fully recovered. In fact, during the day off today, he trained at Milanello for a good 30-35 minutes with high intensity.
He’s eager to get back on the pitch and it remains to be seen when Pioli will give him the chance. Depending on how the game pans out, he might get some minutes against Atalanta next weekend in front of the home fans.
