As if the 1-0 defeat against Udinese at San Siro wasn’t enough, AC Milan’s injury situation might just have gotten worse as Rade Krunic suffered another muscle problem.

With the scoreline 0-0 at half-time, Stefano Pioli made two changes at the break with Noah Okafor and Yacine Adli coming on for Luka Jovic and Krunic, in what were presumed to be tactical alterations.
However, according to what was reported by Peppe Di Stefano on Sky (via MilanNews), Adli actually replaced Krunic at the start of the second half because the Bosnian felt some muscle discomfort.
In addition to that, he was on a yellow card having committed a foul inside the opening 20 minutes, so it was not a memorable evening for the former Empoli man.
Adli’s introduction was unable to make a real impact on the game, as Udinese ended up securing their first win of the season in smash-and-grab fashion thanks to Roberto Pereyra’s penalty.
