Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) live from Milanello on the eve of the game and confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ismael Bennacer are almost certain not to start from the first minute due to muscle fatigue, and the Swede hasn’t trained for a few days.
Hakan Calhanoglu and Theo Hernandez trained today, and they are not faring too well either after sustaining knocks against Genoa. The 4-2-3-1 should be composed as follows: Calabria returns to right-back, Dalot on the left if Theo cannot play with Tomori and Kjaer in the middle.
In midfield Kessie and Meite, while in attack there will be space for Saelemaekers on the right, Calhanoglu in the centre and Krunic on the left. Rebic should start up front and Leao would be the attacking midfield if Calhanoglu is not fit.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez (Dalot); Kessie, Meite; Saelemaekers, Çalhanoglu (Leao), Krunic; Rebic.
