AC Milan are continuing talks with Atletico Madrid over Angel Correa but Valencia are now in the running, a report claims.
It was reported earlier in the week that Boban and Maldini have re-opened the negotiations with the LaLiga club, despite Andre Silva’s move to Monaco collapsing.
The Argentine is believed to have said ‘yes’ to a move to Milan as he wishes to join a club where he would be more of a protagonist, while he is not in Diego Simeone’s plans at present.
Now, Sky have provided an update on the situation by stating that that contacts between Milan and Atletico Madrid for Correa are ongoing.
However, at present there is still a difference in valuation, as the current offer on the table is €45m plus bonuses, but the demand in €55m.
Sky also report that Correa’s entourage are in talks with Valencia, so Milan may have to move quickly to avoid losing out on the player, though a lot could now depend on Silva’s future.
Significant developments may not come until after Thursday, when Atleti wrap up their tour of the USA against the MLS All-Star team.
