Stats highlight Tomori’s importance at Milan despite occasional mistakes

Since the Scudetto season, Fikayo Tomori has been a bit more prone to mistakes and this is understandably something AC Milan fans have pointed out. However, the Englishman is still extremely important for the team.

The Englishman was sent off against Roma due to two rash and unnecessary challenges, highlighting exactly what the Milan fans have been talking about. Against Newcastle, however, he was absolutely brilliant and dominated from start to finish.

As highlighted by Serie A, Tomori is very important for Milan. With him on the pitch, the Rossoneri have an average of 2.2 points claimed per game, whereas they have an average of just 1.1 points without him (in Serie A).

Furthermore, their win percentage is 66.7% with Tomori and just 26.7% without him. The former Chelsea man has played a total of 84 league games for the club so these are stats that have added up over time, which gives them even more significance.
