After a difficult 2019-20 season that was disrupted by a combination of injuries, poor form and suspensions, Calabria has come back with a bang in the current campaign and is now one of the first names on the team sheet under Stefano Pioli, having made the starting right-back spot his own despite competition.
According to what has been published on Twitter by his agency YouFirstSports, Calabria is the leader for tackles in Serie A this season with 83 completed. Not only that, but he has the most tackles in defensive third, and the 3rd most tackles to regain possession.
In addition to the aforementioned, he is 2nd in the entire league for successful pressures, 3rd in progressive passes completed and 6th in passes into the final third.
