The latest from TMW highlights how Milan are serious about landing Tadic as the informal contacts between the parties have continued even on Sunday, primarily because Paolo Maldini and the Rossoneri management see the Serbian forward as the perfect reinforcement for the attacking department.

He is an experienced profile at 32 with a great eye for goal plus personality, character and tactical flexibility. In short, he is seen as the perfect figure to help the young talents in their growth process and at the same time to give the squad a raise in quality.

A three-year contract with a salary doubled compared to his current one has been put forward, but Ajax need to approve before things can go forward. These are ‘hours of reflection for Tadic’ while Milan – despite the latest comments from Overmars – are still pushing hard.
