Things did not go to plan for Milan in London last week as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea in which the team were inferior in virtually every department, with the long list of injuries finally catching up to the team it seemed.
After an even start, Chelsea grew into the game and eventually managed to find the opener after a corner kick was eventually bundled home by Wesley Fofana. Milan could have levelled before the break but were made to pay as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Reece James scored in the second half to take the game beyond the Rossoneri.
In an interview with SportMediaset, Tomori spoke about the match tonight at San Siro between Milan and Chelsea, one in which he will be hoping for a bounce-back performance after last week’s disappointment.
“When San Siro is full, it’s difficult for opponents,” he said (via SempreMilan.it).
“We obviously have to change the performance with respect to the first leg and the attitude: we know we didn’t play well and we want to cancel last week’s performance. We have an opportunity to do it.”
